This new construction residence, ‘Spruce Modern’ redefines modern alpine luxury on the slopes of Stowe Mountain Resort. Our design for this five-bedroom, (including 2 bunk-rooms), six-bathroom home was driven by a goal to create the ultimate ski-in/ski-out retreat for a young family and their guests, with a focus on the après-ski lifestyle.

The architecture maximizes the views through a strategic inverted floorplan, placing the primary living spaces—including the gourmet kitchen and primary suite—on the upper level. This ensures the home's striking, long-scale windows frame the best panorama of Mount Mansfield, making the view an ever-present feature.

The design is a masterclass in contrast: the rugged charm of timber and concrete accents meets sleek, modern architectural lines. An open floorplan promotes effortless entertaining and social flow.
