About the Studio

Kennerknecht Design Group is a full-service interior design and architecture firm specializing in homes designed and curated to each owner’s aspirations.

Based on Boston’s North Shore, our team of licensed designers and architects brings comprehensive expertise to manage complex projects from the ground up. We offer a range of services from new construction to renovations, sourcing fixtures, procuring art, and designing custom furnishings. Whatever the project demands, our approach is consistent: we listen carefully, cherish the details, and work closely with each client to make the experience collaborative and thoughtful.

Following early successes leading design projects for Boston-based firms, Jayme founded Kennerknecht Design Group in 2015. Her award-winning projects have been featured in New England Home, Boston Home, Modern Luxury Interiors Boston, Boston Common and Northshore Home, among others. Jayme was honored with the “5 Under 40’” award from New England Home and has been awarded “Best of Northshore Home for Interior Design” by Northshore Home. Jayme is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She resides on the North Shore with her daughter and their spaniel, Cooper.

Growing up in a log cabin in the Adirondacks, which her parents built themselves, was a grounding experience that gave Jayme an early appreciation for the value of things made with care and the thoughtful decisions that go into designing a home that’s made to last. Guided by a love for design, Jayme and her team strive to make each client feel integral to the process and inspired at every step, actively engaged in the experience of creating an elevated space, curated just for them.
